Taking it to the next level

Friends United for Juvenile Diabetes Research was a thriving nonprofit fueled by the dedication of its hard-working founders. But they realized it was time to take their communications to the next level. Their website was years out of date, and they needed professional materials to help them in their community outreach.

The solution

We worked with Friends United to redesign their website, incorporating an
e-commerce system for donations and event registrations. We also provided sophisticated analytics to allow tracking of website visits.

Next we designed a brochure for distribution in the community, as well as a mailing piece for their annual donation drive.

Friends United had a substantial email list, but no reliable way to send to their contacts. We designed and set up an email marketing system that they can use during their fundraising drive and to publicize their events, which will help them track opens and click-throughs to gauge the effectiveness of their communications.

Friends United is now well positioned to expand their donor base and have a greater impact in their efforts to help researchers find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
